Covid-19 Safety and Medical Emergencies
At this time, the state of Baja California Sur continues in the Mexican government's "Green" level, allowing tourism and open commercially. Masking is required at Los Cabos Airport, and is encouraged for public interior spaces. We remain optimistic that we will have a safe in-person workshop this winter, as we did in 2022, and are planning accordingly. We will be tracking both CDC guidelines and Mexico's official advisements throughout the months leading up to our 2023 session to make sure travel is safe, and will reach out to you if travel restrictions once again go into effect.
Vaccination is required of all TSWW 2023 participants, with boosters strongly recommended. Currently, a negative Covid test is no longer required three days prior to departure from Mexico. We will have Covid testing kits on hand for anyone who feels ill--a postive result will result in vounteer quarantine. TSWW will shuttle participants to the San Judes Medical Clinic in town if further treatment seems necessary. The well-staffed and fully-equipped clinic is open 24/7 for any other medical needs or emergencies.
