As a setting for gathered writers, Todos Santos offers an ideal fusion of natural glory and civilization dedicated to the arts. So fed and watered, here the manuscripts can bloom.

The Todos Santos Writers Workshop, founded in 2014, is a center for creative writing based in the historic pueblo mágico of Todos Santos, Baja California Sur, Mexico. In our annual winter session, TSWW offers workshops for writers at all levels in Fiction, Memoir, Poetry, and Storytelling Strategies.
A one-week Memoir Intensive workshop is offered in May in Paris, France
Written works are read and critiqued in a supportive, participatory setting. Writers may also register for one-on-one mentoring sessions by appointment with any faculty member.
Online workshops are also offered at various times during the year. To be included in our mailing list, click here

The Workshops: Winter Session
Workshops meet each morning in the gardens and salons of the town's rustic haciendas. The final day is reserved for one-on-one conferences with instructors. Instructors are available daily after class for follow-ups by appointment. Special events, such as our popular Faculty Reading and Crafts Workshop are scheduled for afternoons through the week. Concluding nights offer an open mic to those who wish to read their work.
Limited to eight per class for better interaction and more individual focus from instructors, workshops include Poetry with Christopher Merrill, Storytelling Strategies with Rex Weiner, Memoir classes with Jeanne McCulloch and Karen Karbo. Fiction with Gina Frangello. (See all bios here)
Todos Santos - Pueblo Mágico
The Pacific Coast town of Todos Santos on Mexico's Baja California Sur peninsula provides visual, cultural, and spiritual inspiration for artists and writers - important elements in our workshops (extending to our Paris workshop!).
For a tour of some of the "secret spots" of Todos Santos, please check out our YouTube Channel for videos that will take you swimming with the whale sharks in the bay of La Paz, hiking to watch the Punta Lobos fishermen launching their pangas through the surf, a visit with the artisans who make the traditional productos rancheros of the Baja Sur region, and a peek into the kitchen of one of Todos Santos' finest restaurants.
What better place to read, write, and talk about the art and craft of writing than Todos Santos, where all the saints of the sea and sky watch over you? I can’t wait to return.
